Four of our faculty hold endowed chairs, five hold endowed professors, two are University Distinguished Professors, and two are Regents Professors. Our faculty publishes widely and have received numerous prizes and teaching awards. Members of our faculty are leaders in the research fields of Thermal Sciences, Fluid Mechanics, Dynamics and Controls, Applied Physics, and Material Science.
Six of our staff members have received the Dwight Look College of Engineering Outstanding Support Staff Award, one has received the University's International Excellence Award, and two have received the President's Meritorious Service Award.
